Lean 1: Volume 1, Key Conclusions

Thank you all who joined our Lean In event, with Think Africa ry. Check out our key points here below! ⬇🙌⬇

Everything is dynamic and subject to change, including your business plan or go to market strategy. Even more: you will have a very big impact on your local partner's life, as they will have an impact on yours. Your paths become tangled into one new co-created road.

Localise! Kenya has 68 local languages. Each of them carries a local culture, its own opportunities and hurdles. Learn to listen, acknowledge and understand each new market space.

The more local knowledge you have, the clearer the image on how you can co-create value becomes.

All of this requires time. Trust your local partner to walk the line where you invest as much time as you can while activating concrete plans and projects.

Be vulnerable. One of the biggest challenges for you will be to open up about your strengths and weaknesses. Expose yourself so you can in return receive input on how to better adapt.

Our conclusion? Opening up, being patient, honest, vulnerable and willing to understand change as a constant, those are the key values that will allow a very successful market entry and to become the kind of companies we want to see thrive in the very near future. ❤🌍
