A Word from Stefan: Remode as a Personal Journey

Hi there, Stefan writing today: my own experience leaving Spain behind, and why I consider Remode, a market entry accelerator, also to be a personal journey.

We are connecting two continents. Every day, we link Baltic and Nordic companies and key emerging African markets to one another. Every week, we learn something new.

I already did one beautiful journey back in the day when I was young, perseverant and positive: from Spain to Finland. (Now I am still perseverant and positive, but I do have some white hairs…).

I somehow learned more in my first 6 months in Finland than in the previous 20 years of my life: social and professional expectations, good and bad habits, new opportunities. I realized how I could contribute in a different way to the country. What made me special.

Now, fear not: we are not asking you to relocate to another continent…

… but we are just not afraid to say it loud: entering a new market in Africa will impact you beyond your company’s performance. You will have to learn and adapt to brand new situations, ways of building relationships and probably re-think how you actually do business. And we are honoured to share that journey with you.

Of course, we will apply all our learnings, our “know-how”, our “know-who”, and any other fancy piece of go-to-market jargon you want to throw into the mix. But, mark our words: you will go through a unique personal journey.

There is always something new to discover about yourself, about the culture you grew up embracing, about the new landing market and the pre-conceived notions you had.

This is a company profile and our goal is to open the doors to new partners and markets with concrete, tangible results. Sure…

… but life is worth to be experienced at its fullest, and that’s what you’ll get with us.
