The Food Value Chain is complex. The African market with its challenges doesn't make it any easier. And it seems difficult for participants in the value chain to cooperate successfully; beginning with recognising the most pressing issues and finding suitable partners to help in solving them.

This event was an effort to bring together food value chain operators and openly explore the collaboration options in the sector. Production, manufacturing, research and marketing all mainly play in their own silos. Remode wanted to bring these people together and encourage everyone to find better solutions to their existing problems.

The event was created in collaboration with FIDA International, International Solidarity Foundation of Finland, FINGO and University of Helsinki / Innofood Project and Noah's Ark.
